Job Description
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support IBD, DCM & ECM business unit, manage operational processes to ensure successful new issuance; 
- Oversee deal closing, settlement, and funding processes for IPO and syndicated products; 
- Ensure accurate deal booking, allocation, and reconciliation across internal systems; 
- Act as the primary escalation point for trade discrepancies, fails, and operational issues; 
- Design and implement scalable operational workflows to enhance efficiency in syndication processes; 
- Partner with Technology & COO teams to improve automation (straight-through processing, replatforming and AI-driven reconciliation); 
- Develop and enforce controls to mitigate operational, legal, and compliance risks; 
- Work closely with Front Office (ECM, DCM, sales, trading), Legal, Risk, and Finance to resolve operational bottlenecks; 
- Manage relationships with agent banks, custodians, and third-party vendors to streamline post-trade execution; 
- Support audits, regulatory exams, and internal risk assessments; 
- Drive projects to enhance data integrity, reporting accuracy, and MIS for senior management; 
- Analyze settlement fails, funding delays, and operational losses to recommend corrective actions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 8+ years in trade support, or capital markets middle/back-office roles at a top-tier bank or financial institution; 
- Expert knowledge of loan/bond documentation (credit agreements, offering memoranda, trade confirmations); 
- Proven leadership experience, managing teams in a high-volume, high-risk environment; 
- Good understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting syndicated markets; 
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field; 
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
