- Cover pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare services companies as a dedicated industry specialist
- Market and distribute investment banking products, including but not limited to IPOs and follow-on offerings, convertibles, M&A and strategic advisory mandates
- Monitor capital markets conditions and healthcare investor sentiment
- Actively engage with institutional investors (long-only funds, hedge funds, sector-focused investors) on healthcare-related transactions and articulate investment theses, sector trends, and company-specific value propositions
- Partner with IBD throughout the transaction lifecycle, including but not limited to support pre-deal marketing, roadshows, investor education, and bookbuilding, provide investor feedback to internal teams on pricing, structure, timing, and demand dynamics
- Coordinate closely with research, trading, and sales teams to ensure effective deal execution
- Develop deep understanding of Pharmaceutical R&D pipelines, clinical trial stages and regulatory pathways, competitive landscapes and valuation benchmarks
- Represent the firm in industry conferences, investor meetings, and roadshows
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and information barriers
- Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD) in Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences from a research-related perspective
- Expert-level understanding and knowledge of Healthcare & Life Sciences sector
- Outstanding reputation among the industry
- Extensive existing long-term relationships with healthcare-focused investors
- Proficiency in written English and Mandarin
