A Singapore MAS-licensed broker
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients including asset managers, hedge funds, private banks, securities firms and family offices investing in China offshore credit markets.
- Execute trades in China offshore USD bonds and CNH bonds, working with market counterparties, brokers and liquidity providers to source competitive pricing and liquidity.
- Identify opportunities to provide FX hedging solutions (FX swap / NDF / spot) for clients investing in offshore credit markets, especially where currency mismatch exists between funding currency and asset currency.
- Provide clients with market color, pricing indications and trade ideas in offshore China credit markets, including new issues, secondary market opportunities and relative value trades.
- Assist institutional investors in structuring investments in offshore Chinese credit products, including execution strategies and FX risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in offshore China credit markets, preferably in roles such as: Sales Trader, Credit Sales, Fixed Income Trader, Bond Broker
- Experience in China offshore USD bonds, CNH bonds, or Asia credit markets is strongly preferred.
- Candidates must be eligible to be registered as a Representative with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) under the Capital Markets Services license framework.
- Strong network among Chinese asset managers, offshore funds, private banks, or securities firms is an advantage.
- Understanding of FX hedging instruments (FX swap / NDF / spot) related to cross-border bond investments.
- Fluent Mandarin is required to communicate with Chinese counterparties.
- Candidates with Singapore education background or familiarity with Singapore financial markets are preferred.
- Strong communication skills, client relationship management capability, and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
