Job Description
- Participate in the structuring and formation of funds managed by the firm; 
- Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation, such as offering memoranda, investment management agreements, partnership agreements, and service agreements; 
- Collaborate with other teams to provide legal support and ensure the seamless operation of the funds managed by the firm; 
- Stay updated on changes in the legal and regulatory landscape and ensure compliance with relevant applicable laws and regulations; 
- Provide training to staff on legal matters; 
- Attend to other legal matters in the firm’s day-to-day business.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above in law; 
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney specializing in hedge funds or financial services, or as a legal counsel at asset management companies or other financial institutions; 
- Admitted to practice law or passed bar examination in the US, UK or other common law jurisdictions; 
- Solid knowledge of securities laws, investment management regulations, and corporate law; 
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills; 
- Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin as working languages; 
- Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment; 
- Strong sense of responsibility, diligence and integrity.
