Job Description
- Process transformations, Evaluate and improve existing operational processes to align with industry best practices;
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather detailed information and ensure requirements are fully understood;
- Identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions to address them;
- Introduce process improvements to optimize operational management;
- Develop process flow diagrams and documentation to visualize existing and future-state processes;
- Create and assess business process models for new product launches and change projects;
- Partner with operations managers to define and document new process needs;
- Coordinate with technology teams to convert operational needs into system enhancements;
- Support project teams to ensure on-time completion of assigned tasks;
- Obtain approval from key operations leaders for proposed process improvements;
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and senior management, to ensure alignment and collaboration on transformation projects;
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and potential risks or issues;
- Act as the bridge between business users and IT teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of business solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, within the financial services industry;
- Strong knowledge of Over the Counter Derivatives products, and life cycle event, post trade controls;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Experience working on medium to large-scale transformation projects, including re-platforming and process optimization;
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights;
- Experience with process mapping, requirements documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT); Familiarity with business intelligence tools, data analytics, and reporting platforms is
a plus;
- Excellent Communication Skills (Spoken & Written Cantonese and Mandarin).
