Job Description
- ABS Trading: Carry a specific risk limit and mandate in investing/trading ABS securities and bear PnL responsibilities. Monitor market trends and analyze data to identify potential trading opportunities in global RMBS, ABS, CLOs, particularly in European and Australian markets; 
- Bespoke Asset-Backed Securitization: Use trading experience and quantitative skills to carry out quantitative assessments and contribute to a range of private ABS or structured
credit /securitization projects. Engage in special projects to support new business generation; 
- Lifecycle Support: Provide support in the monitoring, valuation, corporate actions, and portfolio adjustments throughout the lifecycle of structured products, based on client requests; 
- Cross-Unit Collaboration: Actively work with other business units within groups to enhance cross-selling opportunities and deal execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master's degree in economics, finance, quantitative finance, or other related quantitative fields from a globally recognized top university; 
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant experience trading Asset Backed Securities (eg CLO, RMBS, Consumer Credit, etc) at a reputable institution; Candidates with buy-side ABS trading experience will also be considered. Has specialization in the Asia Pacific region’s securitization markets (eg Australian consumer credit); 
- Trading Performance: Candidate must demonstrate own PnL performance over a 2 to 3 year period of trading in a specific ABS segment for the AD level and 5 years+ for the Director 
level; 
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and logical abilities with a solid background in quantitative analysis. Have working and detailed knowledge of CLOs and Securitized Products. Intex knowledge is required; 
- Track Record: Demonstrated history of principled, responsible, and self-disciplined behavior, with strong teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and deal-making skills; 
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building bridges with knowledge and charisma and strong interest in client contact (there could be
significant interactions with corporate clients, other broker dealers as well as members of the general investor community); 
- Work Ethic: Results-oriented, dedicated, and hardworking, able to work independently while under pressure. Must deliver on time with a high level of integrity, flexibility, sense of
urgency, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards; 
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin and/orCantonese is a plus.
