Job Description

Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the Middle Office team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement; Develop and implement strategiesto enhance team performance and ensure high-quality service delivery;

Cross-Asset Class Support: Oversee middle office functions across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured productsEnsure seamless transaction processing, risk management, and reporting for all asset classes;

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to optimize operational efficiency and reduce risksCollaborate with front office, risk management, and back office teams to streamline workflows and improve service levels;

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to middle office operationsAct as a point of contact for audits and regulatory inquiries.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including traders, portfolio managers, and senior managementAct as a liaison between the middle office and other departments to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives;

Talent Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for career growth and skill enhancementConduct performance reviews and facilitate training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus;

Minimum of 12 years of experience in a middle office or similar role within an investment bank or financial services firmStrong understanding of cross-asset class operations and investment products;

Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels;

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail;

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
