Key Accountabilities
-Be a subject matter expert for the Liquid Financing Business from front to back (trade capture, booking, settlement, lifecycle events etc.)
-Help drive implementation of product/platform solutions in response to client and internal stakeholder issues/requirements.
-Help drive implementation of product/platform solutions in response Market and Regulatory requirements.
-Ensure that all product development activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, operational risk framework and internal policies and standards.
-Apply a risk and control mindset at all times to protect the firm, our clients and other external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
-Build collaborative partnerships with Sales and Client coverage teams across markets (Asia and Global)
-Work closely with global Liquid Financing Product colleagues & APAC Prime Product colleagues in delivering Prime initiatives
-Work closely with infrastructure partners, control partners and external vendors in delivering Prime initiatives with due focus at all times on Regulatory compliance and compliance with internal policies.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
-Ability to work diligently in a fast paced environment where issues may arise, and take promptaction to resolve such issues,
-Oversee escalations closely where infrastructure teams are involved (i.e. IT, Operations)
-Ability to make decisions with a client centric and a risk & control centric mindset
Risk and Control Objective
-Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatoryrequirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
-College / University degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry-Strong knowledge of Agency Execution, Risk, Clearing businesses and the Regulatory environment impacting them.
-A resourceful, self- motivated team player who is able to escalate appropriately when requiredand has strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate at all levels and across multipleareas within the firm.
-Ability to develop effective solutions to support new business initiatives, market and regulatorychanges
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
-Understanding of derivative trading practices, and associated booking models, internal controlsand regulatory implications
-Experience in an Equities trading business, preferably in a Product and/or Trade Support role
