A financial institution offering services such as trading, wealth management, principal investment, etc.
- Working with senior stakeholders within the business and operational areas, strengthening and developing the risk framework and its individual components;
- Operational risk event management;
- Develop Risk Control Self Assessments for each business and operational area;
- Ensuring operational risk assessment is embedded in new business, process and system development;
- Conducting training and raise awareness of the operational risk framework and business continuity program;
- Supporting other risk functions as required, market, liquidity, brokerage and counterparty credit risk.
- Degree in risk management or related fields;
- Fluent in English;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Able to present and communicate status and risks and technical details with impact and influence;
- Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively, with a proven track record of delivery;
- Familiarity with global markets products preferably through Risk responsibility in a reputable financial institution;
- Good understanding of the regulatory environment in Asia;
- 10 years or above experience in Risk Management.
