Job Description
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance technology development and/or operations and 3 years of experience working in leading financial institution;
- Well versed with Hong Kong securities regulatory requirements;
- Self-motivated, pragmatic as well as flexibility and openness to continue learning, evolving and growing; Organized and disciplined, able to meet tight deadlines; Responsible and detail-minded with good analytical and communication skills;
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, and excellent presentation and written skills;
- Applicants with working experience in relevant roles at leading financial institutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Review the existing compliance processes and identify opportunities for automation and/or digitalization;
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, design and adjust modules for compliance-related technology projects, including enhancement projects for the automation of AML and trade surveillance system and control room platform;
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to local and headquarter system developers and project managers, external vendors and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with objectives and goals;
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to the compliance management, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program life cycle;
- Set up regular/ad-hoc review plan to ensure the compliance systems are running as per the intended design; Represent compliance stakeholders to discuss with internal IT team (both HK and Mainland) and external vendors with reasonably tight deadlines and adequate management updates.
