Job Description
- Daily execution of trades, covering Asia, Europe and the US;
- Trading cash equities, SWAPs, baskets, options, futures, etc. via low-touch, DMA, algo and high-touch;
- Providing market news/ data/ color to PMs;
- Performing pre- and post-trade checks to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements;
- Sourcing hard-to-borrow inventories, blocks, etc.
- Working closely with operations, compliance and other teams to ensure smooth settlement and controls.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese and English;
- Must have a degree from a reputable university;
- Must be outstanding in Python and good at C++;
- Work experience of less than 5 years;
- Good understanding of equity and derivative markets;
- Good knowledge of trading systems and analytical tools, e.g. Bloomberg, Enfusion and WIND;
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills;
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast paced environment
